A group of skiers was returning from Crystal Mountain Resort, WA when the road conditions became too hazardous to continue on.

Rather than waste time in the freezing cold and miserable ice, one skier decided to take advantage of the situation. How often are you able to ice skate on a highway, after all?

Crystal Mountain is open today, December 26th, but will not be open for night skiing.

Being able to ice skate on a ski resort access road isn’t ideal, but at least this guy made something out of a terrible situation.

Here’s hoping none of those vehicles tried to travel on that road. It’s literally a perfect ice skating rink. That’s a recipe for disaster…
