It’s not a race when you’re ascending a mountain but little tips and tricks like the one Arc’teryx athlete Brenton Reagan calls“The Houdini Method” do cut down on the time you use transitioning from one mode of transportation to another. Might be a bit uncomfortable on the shoulder but if you just billy goating it for a minute this trick would be useful.
