Lake Tahoe was absolutely buried by a major winter snowstorm this past weekend.

Higher elevations saw more than 36 inches of snow fall in just 24 hours, and newly-reopened Sierra-at-Tahoe is reporting a storm total of 45 inches!

Take a look at some of the best photos and videos captured from around the Lake Tahoe basin below. The storm did not disappoint.
