Video of a kayaker fishing off the coast Pigeon Point in San Mateo County are going viral on Tik Tok this week.

The clip shows Lucas Decasper being stalked by a massive great white shark right after he caught a fish.

My buddies reaction to me being stalked by a great white. #fishing#shark#crazy this video was taken moments after being rammed by the shark. Sharks are not your enemy, you are in their home @danny_bernardo”

Decasper was interviewed by ABC7 about the close encounter with the shark:

“I was kind of dangling the fish right over, right on the surface of the water messing with my GoPro because I wanted to get a video and I just see him come out of nowhere,” Decasper said.

“I yanked the rod because I knew if he bit into it it for sure would flip me and it was scary for sure. He came that first time at the fish.”

This is why you’ll never catch me paddling in a kayak on the ocean.

Never. Never. Never. Never.

Sorry, but I have an irrational fear of sharks thanks to too many episodes of Shark Week.
