If you don’t know who Owen Leeper is, you should definitely change that. He’s one of our favorite professional skiers out there, and his Instagram (@o_leeps) and YouTube (@O_leeps) are both pretty incredible. It brings us great joy, then, to congratulate him on his new pro-model ski from Meier Skis.

The Leeper is an advanced/expert level ski with an under foot width of 114mm. Sometime that width means the skis are only very useful in deeper snow, but not in this case. These skis are meant to be comfortable both in deep, untouched powder and tracked out inbound terrain, with the early rise tips (early rise on the front tip, slight early rise on the back tip) preventing them from diving into deep snow while allowing for better maneuverability in trees and other tight terrain. The artwork, featuring Mount Owen located in the Teton’s, is done completely by Haley Badenhop, Owen’s wife.

“I created the Leeper for high speed, big turns and stomping cliffs.” Owen Leeper

The skis are available in 178cm, 185cm, and 192cm. They currently go for $949 and are available for purchase at Meier Skis. Once again, massive congrats and props to Owen for getting his own pro-model, and well done on the design, these skis are sick.
