Solitude Mountain Resort in Utah has been working behind the scenes since May to create an app that pairs drivers with folks looking for a lift to the resort. The hope is to reduce congestion on the roads and in turn CO2 emissions. Another benefit to adding passengers is discounted to free parking at the resort depending on how many people you people you have in your vehicle (4 or more its free even on weekends).
