Photographer Jordan Anast (@jordananast, jordananast.com) was shooting a surf competition at San Onofre State Beach near San Clemente, CA when he was treated to the experience of a lifetime.
A massive great white shark launched itself into the air behind a surfer that Anast was shooting. The result is an absolutely awesome set of photos that you have to see for yourself.

Pretty awesome, right? There’s being in the right place at the right time and then there’s this. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime shot.
