Update 10/21: They will be open on Friday as well from 12-7 p.m.

On Tuesday, Wild Mountain and Andes Tower Hills got the 2022-23 ski season started by opening within an hour of each other. Yesterday, Trollhaugen Troll in Wisconsin became the third in the country and the Midwest to open, and the first to open in Wisconsin. Trollhaugen was open yesterday and will be open Thursday from 2-8 p.m. They currently have two lifts and two runs open. Due to the warmer temperatures that are coming over the weekend, they have not determined when they will reopen.

Out of all three mountains that have opened so far, this seems like the most legit setup to me. Having a chairlift, rope tow, and a couple of runs open is a better setup than a magic carpet or a rope tow with a couple of runs. All of these mountains deserve credit for getting open in October though for getting the stoke going so early on.
