Teamwork makes the dream work at Waterville Valley Resort in New Hampshire. They are closing in on completing the new White Peak Express Lift. The six-pack bubble lift will help create a more comfortable experience, and protect the lift against wind holds that were common for the old White Peaks Express. Some of the stats for the new lift are as follows: A total length of 5700 feet, a vertical drop of 1585 feet, the ability to carry 3200 passengers an hour, and a six-minute ride time.

This week, Waterville Valley began work on splicing the haul rope for the new bubble lift. This involves a whole crew of people, as it’s a true team effort. A video showing the work done so far this week is below and click here to check out a live webcam of the new lift.
