The video below shows a kayaker having an incredible encounter with a pod of Orca whales in Eld Inlet in Olympia, WA.
I’ve embedded the clip to start just a few seconds before the whales appear within feet of the kayaker, but you can rewind and watch from the beginning of you want to see them approaching from afar.
Not to be too dramatic, but I would have peed my pants with excitement (and a little bit of fear) if I was that kayaker.
Orcas are one of the most fascinating animals on planet Earth, and to come that close to them in the open water must have been an incredible experience.
