I’m gonna be 100% honest with all of you- I know very little about surfing. I might get some flack about that, but I’d rather get roasted for being honest…
With that being said, I’ve done some deep-diving into the surf world to better understand what’s happening in the video below. Those of you that are in tune with surfing can probably just skip to the video below…
Here’s what I know-
Surfline is a surf forecasting website that provides its subscribers with cams, predictions, and analysis so that they can travel to find the perfect waves. In-land surfers love it, and local beach dwellers hate it.
Essentially, the website can blow up a spot that’s popping off in just a matter of minutes.
The video below shows somebody spray painting ‘FUCK SURFLINE’ on the Venice breakwater in view of Surfline’s webcam.
The response has been overwhelmingly positive in favor of the vandal in the comments, and even legendary snowboarder Jeremy Jones has liked the post.
