I’ve never had the pleasure of seeing the Northern Lights in person, but by golly I swear I will one of these days.

I was scrolling through my Facebook feed yesterday (not something many people my age say these days) when I saw a beautiful picture of the aurora dancing above Mount Bohemia, MI, one of my favorite ski areas in the country.

So what am I, a ski blogger, supposed to do with that beautiful image? Well, share it with all of you of course!

Check out the stunning image captured by Cale Polkinghorne below:

May be an image of nature and sky

The mountain might seem small in the image above, but let me assure you that it’s mighty. I can’t say enough positive things about Mount Bohemia, and I won’t stop.

I’ve recently moved out of the Midwest due to an unplanned life change, but I’m hoping to make it back to Bohemia for seasons to come. The skiing and culture at that place is too good for me to not…

While I have you here, I’d like to address an untrue stereotype about Bohemia.

The ski area has developed a reputation online for only attracting dudes, but I can assure you that there was plenty of women ripping the slushy slopes and enjoying the hot tub pool party when I was there back at the beginning of April.

Just saying…
