I love me some Jack Johnson. From gorgeous sunny days on the beach to days spent locked inside watching the rain come down, his music seems to fit a good number of different relaxing moods. Certain music fits incredibly well with certain sports. Skateboarding goes well with punk and metal, skiing goes well with  reggae and rock, and surfing goes well with Jack Johnson (maybe not the insane big wave surfing, but can you really tell me his music doesn’t fit with the vibes of late afternoon mellow surfing?).

Maybe you already knew Jack Johnson was a world class surfer before he became an incredibly famous musician. Maybe you already knew he was very good friends with Kelly Slater. Maybe you already knew his music career really began because he included one of his songs at the end of a surf movie he filmed. Or, like me, maybe you didn’t. Whether or not you knew all of those things, watching Jack Johnson tell his story from birth to fame is pretty darn cool. After seeing this video, I want him to write a book telling his whole story so I can give it a read.
