Vail Resorts, the largest ski area operator in the country, has issued a change in its COVID-19 vaccination requirements. KPCW reports Vail Resorts no longer will require employees to be vaccinated due to the improvement of overall conditions surrounding COVID-19.

The change is in step with changes at the federal level. Earlier in 2022, OSHA withdrew its emergency temporary standard that called for large employers to adopt a mandatory vaccination policy.

While Vail Resorts has removed the requirement, they will still continue to encourage employees to get vaccinated.  images from vailresorts Twitter
