We all dream of getting rich and blowing millions of dollars on a luxurious mansion in a ski town, right?
I know most of us have a distaste for how the richest of the rich have ruined ski towns with their absurdly-priced homes, but we would all trade places with them in an instant.
I scroll through the real estate listings for places like Telluride, Aspen, Park City, and Tahoe every once in a while to entertain my wildest day dreams.
Today, I stumbled across a completely preposterous home in Aspen, CO that includes a hot tub in the living room. It exudes palpable 1980s ski vibes.
574 Johnson Dr, Aspen, CO
I can just imagine a bunch of neon-clad preppy guys and gals sharing this tub sipping on cocktails and hitting the slopes indoors… if you know what I mean. 😂
The home was built in 1980, so it makes since that the builders would hop on the trend of putting hot tubs in living rooms. That seems to have been all the rage back then.
The rest of the home isn’t anything spectacular. The bedrooms, bathrooms, and other living areas all seem to be stuck in the 80s. Anybody who buys this home will surely spend a few-hundred-thousand dollars on renovations and new decorations.
The view isn’t half bad though. I definitely wouldn’t mind it.
