Dramatic footage out of Puerto de Sagunto, Spain where a drone lifeguard saved a 14-year-old boy from drowning in the sea in Valencia. The boy got caught in a current and was struggling to keep his head above water in the choppy water. The conditions made it difficult for a lifeguard team on a jet ski to arrive quickly but thankfully this beach is one of the 22 in Spain with pilots trained to fly General Drones who work in conjunction with lifeguards to provide rapid response when rescuers can’t get to the victim.  The drone dropped an inflatable vest on the struggling swimmer who used to float until the rescue team arrived. The teen was hospitalized due to swallowing a bunch of sea water but was released within 24 hours.
