Sherpas are legitimate superhumans.
Just stumbled across this video on my Twitter feed of a Sherpa casually banging out more than a dozen pushup on the summit of K2 at more than 28,000′ above sea level. No big deal.
The last time I flew into Colorado I was sick with altitude sickness for a full 24 hours at sub 13,000′ in elevation, and this guy is doing more pushups than I can do at sea level… What an immaculate display of athleticism.

Can you imagine suffering the climb of K2 only to see a Sherpa crushing some pushups while you fade in and out of consciousness from the altitude? Must be the ultimate blow to anybody’s ego for summiting the mountain.
