Quality bit of last second maneuvering by this seaplane pilot on the approach to land in Angoon, Alaska. Just before touching down a whale emerges into his flight path and delivers a telltale plume of water mist from its blowhole alerting the pilot to his presence. A quick pull on the yoke and disaster averted. Smooth move, nice flying!
