Perhaps the biggest project this offseason for Vail Resorts is the expansion into the Bergman Bowl at Keystone Resort, which was previously only accessible via cat-skiing or hiking up. Over the past couple of weeks, the Colorado ski resort has been running daily wordles to announce the new trail names.
With the last puzzle being completed, we now know all the new names of the sixteen trails. The 555 acres of newly lift-accessed terrain will be serviced by a detachable six-pack chairlift called the Bergman Express.
Opinions on the lift-serviced expansion are mixed, as many are stoked to have lift access to some of Keystone’s best bowl skiing, while others are bummed that the fresh tracks during powder days will dissipate much sooner than beforehand.
The trail names and official announcements from Keystone Resort are below.
Bergman Bowl Trail Names: •Jane’s Journey • Miners • Quandary • Ten Mile • Thorne • Ute • Buffalo • Ptarmigan • Red • Torreys • Grays • Wichita • Uneva
Erickson Bowl Trail Names: • Tenderfoot • Nuchu • Silverheels
