It seems like everybody at Yellowstone National Park thinks it’s okay to pet the wild bison, but we’ve seen time and time again that it’s simply a bad idea.

A man from Colorado was gored just earlier this week. You can watch the video that has now gone viral here.

The National Parks Service recommends that people stay more than 25 yards away from wild bison, but that information doesn’t seem to be getting through to people.

In response to all of the unfortunate incidents, they’ve created a funny image that gives you an idea of what can happen if you pet bison on the various parts of their bodies.

May be an image of text that says 'WILDLIFE PETTING CHART National parks offer unique experience for watching wildlife. Animals parks ild-visitors have amazing opportunity view animals they live and interact with each other their natural homes. with that privilege comes responsibility. Visitors responsible their own safety and the safety of the animals, too THINK AGAIN NOPE VACATION OVER OUCH HOW FAST ARE YOU? UMM, NO. DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE? KEEPWILDLIFEWILD Remember to keep your distance, and enjoy experience watching wildlife. No touching, no feeding, no harassing. INSSON'

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that anybody who pets a bison is ‘gonna have a bad time’ no matter the case. Just don’t do it, okay?
