It’s being reported that Russell Weiner, founder of Rockstar Energy Drink, has purchased the most expensive home ever sold in Utah. According to multiple reports, Weiner paid $39.6 million for “Monitor’s Rest”, a ski mansion in Park City.
The listing states that the home is a ‘legacy-quality modern compound” on 5 ski-in/ski-out acres in the gated enclave of The Colony at White Pine Canyon. Built of Shou Sugi Ban charred cypress with a copper roof, Croatian limestone, the home includes both indoor-and-outdoor swimming pools, a private spa, Himalayan salt room, and an indoor climbing wall. There is also a bowling alley, a golf simulator, and a movie theater with a laser projector.
The listing goes on to state, and this might be the most important part of all, that the house is just a “30 -minute drive to Heber Valley Airport which can accommodate up to Global Express and G650 aircraft.”
In March 2020 Rockstar Energy Drink was sold to Pepsico for $3.85 billion. The sale of the company brought Weiner’s wealth to a reported $4 billion.
