May be an image of nature, mountain and ski slope

Timberline Lodge (Oregon) announced this past weekend that their legendary Palmer lift was officially open for spring and summer riding.

The opening of Palmer is my Unofficial start to summer. It marks the period of the year where I can casually check out Timberline’s Palmer webcam whenever I need to feel jealous of people sliding on snow. It’s great.

Timberline is open daily from 9AM-3PM. The resort is currently reporting a 165″ base depth at the base.

You can probably detect a little bit of sarcasm in my ‘It’s great.’ statement written earlier in this article.

Am I happy that other people are skiing and riding in May, June, July, August, and September? Absolutely!

Am I so jealous to the point that it hurts that I’m not skiing and riding in May, June, July, August, and September? Absolutely!

Should I probably speak to my therapist about spending less time online being jealous of people skiing and riding in May, June, July, August, and September! ABSOLUTELY!

Hope all of you fortunate souls in the PNW are having fun out there. I’ll be over here stewing with jealousy from the east coast.
