The Colorado Snowsports Museum and Hall of Fame posted a vintage film by Steve Koch of the National Alpine Races at Aspen Mountain from 1957. The film doesn’t have sound, but the crystal-clear color film is a true treat for an action-sports film from the era.

I enjoyed throwing this on my tv with some music playing in the background to soak in what it was like to ski almost 70 years ago.

This film is a gold mine for skiing history buffs such as myself. Enjoy.
