Beachgoers at Ft. Meyers, Florida had a unique encounter with a dolphin earlier this week. The dolphin can be seen circling the group in the shallow blue waters in the video below.

Some people in the comments are suggesting that the dolphin might be protecting the humans from a nearby shark. What do you think?

I like swimming in the ocean as much as the next person, but I get freaked out anytime I encounter wildlife. I don’t know why, but aquatic animals just give me the heebee jeebies.
