Timberline Lodge reaped the benefits of La Niña this season.
The ski area has picked up 568 inches of snow to date, and is currently reporting a 175 inch base depth at the lodge.
That should be plenty of snow to keep Timberline’s summer operations on the Palmer Snowfields going for months to come.
You just love to see it.
Heading into late May with this much snow is great news for summer skiing, our forests, and rivers! #timberline #orwx #laniña pic.twitter.com/BATac9YQEE

Here’s to hoping the PNW doesn’t get a freak heat wave like last summer, and that Timberline is able to keep people sliding on snow throughout August.
I promise that I will be extremely jealous of the summer shred clips I see coming from Hood all season long. Have fun out there, friends!
