I would love a dog that I could train to follow me while skiing. It would make they backcountry so much more inviting if I knew my best animal friend was next to me the whole time. Backcountry skier Fabi Lentsch was actually given a taste of what that might feel like while skiing in Georgia, except the dog that joined him was a complete stray.

Apparently there are a lot of strays in Georgia that often decide to follow people around while they’re visiting, and the dog featured in the following video wasn’t the only one to join Fabi’s crew, as he comments that one other joined them at their campsite. It’s important to note that the dog did make it down the mountain in one piece, though I’m not sure how.
