They will be using Snowbirds soon to be replaced trams to carry riders up to this harrowing terrain. This does bring up a fair share of questions: Where will the lift start? Why would you bring lift access to some of the most challenging terrain in the Cottonwoods? How will this affect the snow quality on Fantasy Ridge? All I know is this: I’m stoked that I don’t need to hike to this terrain now. The official statement from Solitude is below.
