Okay… I’m not going to pretend like I know anything about drones. I don’t own one, I’ve never flown one, and I’m honestly just a tiny bit scared of them. Hear me out on this one…
Just because we can make something doesn’t always mean that we should, right? I’ve watched enough cybernetic apocalyptic movies over the last two decades to know that. I guess my fears of a Skynet takeover aren’t as realistic to others.
ANYWAYS. I stumbled across this crazy video of an FPV racing drone on Instagram this morning, and I just had to post something about it.
The drone’s acceleration is mind-blowing. Somebody claimed in the comments that it goes 0-120mph in one second.
I don’t know if there’s a way to verify that number based on the video alone, but I’m sure one of you will be able to figure it out.
Either way. You have to admit that this technology is extremely impressive, and just a tiny bit scary. 😂
