Beech Mountain Resort in North Carolina is set to see enhanced features at the opening of the 2022-23 ski season, with new lifts and more coming this summer. A Doppelmayr Quad will replace the double currently known as Lift 1, and the mountain’s current terrain park will be converted into a beginner trail with a carpet lift.

Two new terrain parks, one in Powder Bowl and one in the Meadows, will be added to replace the current park. The mountain is also getting ten new snowmaking guns, allowing for a longer season.

I’ve never skied in North Carolina, and the chances of me ever skiing there are very slim. That being said, it’s nice to see ski access for people living closer to the southern parts of the United Sates improving. Good for you Beech Mountain.
