A snowboarding video game built by snowboarders is coming to Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Steam on March 17th, according to developers FoamPunch’s Twitter. The game, titled Shredders, seems to be based mainly on park riding, putting you in the shoes of a newly sponsored athlete shooting to gain access to a big invitational. Developers FoamPunch promise the game will provide an open world with diverse terrain, where you’ll be able to ride alongside real professionals, unlock real gear, and shred with friends in online multiplayer.

I have to say, this game looks VERY similar to Steep and Riders Republic, just more narrowed down to only include snowboarding. But, honestly, I think that’s okay. If the developers are snowboarders themselves, then maybe the gameplay will feel better than Steep’s or Rider’s Republic, and with a price tag of only $30 (most games nowadays go for $60, as Rider’s Republic currently does) and access through the Xbox Game Pass, it could easily be worth the purchase. Plus, the trailer looks pretty dope, and the graphics are absolutely gorgeous, so now I’m wishing I had an Xbox or PC…
