“Our track is 7/10ths of a mile long and the karts can reach speeds of 50mph.”

Get a load of this pop-up ice-karting track on Kodiak Ski Lake in Aspen. The karts come equipped with 12 HP Brigg and Stratton engines that zip folks along in excess of 50mph.  Track operations are obviously weather dependant but in the last few months major names from the world of racing have suited up for some winter fun including Lucas di Grassi, the winner of the first-ever Formula E race, and four-time NASCAR Cup Series Champion Jeff Gordon.

Located about 25 minutes drive from Aspen and Snowmass, The Aspen Ice Karting requires a reservation. A 10-minute ride costs $49 and a 20-minute ride is $90. For more information GO HERE.
