Uluru is a massive sandstone formation in Northern Territory, Australia. The rock is famous for its beautiful orange-red color, and the spectacular waterfalls that cascade down to the ground below.

Uluru is sacred to the Pitjantjatjara, an aboriginal group in the area. It stands 1,142 ft. high with an elevation of 2,831 ft. above sea level. Uluru is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
