Painful video from yesterday on Chair 2 at Vail where a snowboarder fell 20+ feet after dangling for 45 seconds. Luckily it looks like the trail below had some give as he landed. After 10 minutes he got to his feet, waived to the crowd and rode down with ski patrol. If you need a reminder that chairlift safety bars are there for a reason, here you go:
