May be an image of 2 people, snow, people skiing, nature and mountainAfter a slow December, Sugarbush Resort is now 100% open thanks to plentiful snowfall in January. A new addition this season is the renovations over at Sugarbush’s iconic Mt. Ellen Lodge. Some of the improvements include expanded deck, bathrooms on all floors, elevators, bigger and brighter space on the main floor, renovated retail space, a dedicated conference room, and more.” But wait, there’s more!

The major addition to the lodge over the offseason was the new Vermont Adaptive Ski & Sports wing. This section opened in December and features fitness rooms, locker rooms, a yoga room, a sensory room for those who need a mental break, accessible restrooms, handicapped parking spaces, access to the main lodge, and more. The $2.5 million dollar project is spread out across three floors and provides adaptive athletes a chance to shred at one of the best mountains in Vermont.
