The Eagle County Sheriff’s office has published a press release asking for assistance in finding two individuals who broke into a privately owned snowcat and caused an estimated $5000 worth of damage in Dotsero, Colorado. The incident occurred on January 17th, but the Sheriff’s office didn’t released information surrounding the incident until January 24th.

The two people appeared to be attempting to use the snowcats to get a stuck car out of a snowbank, and in doing so caused the damage. The snowcat is one of two owned by a private club, used to maintain snowmobile trails between Glenwood Springs and Dotsero.

If you have any information relating to the incident, or recognize the individuals in the photos, the Eagle County Sheriff’s office is asking that you either contact Deputy Devan Salazar at (970) 328-8500 or, if you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact the Eagle County Crime Stoppers. Tips that lead to the arrest and indictment could receive a $1,000 reward.
