Two mountains lions were recording fighting each other by a residential security camera in Belmont, California earlier this week. The footage is somewhat hard to discern, but you can see one mountain lion dragging another across the street if you look closely.

Experts believe that the mountain lions were fighting over territory. Mountain lions can be extremely aggressive in protecting their ground, and are known to kill other lions they deem a threat.

KTVU FOX 2 San Francisco has the story:

I have a long-standing and well-known fear of mountain lions, but even I wouldn’t mind gazing out my window to see two cougars duking it out. That’s just some good-ol’-fashioned mother nature baby, and it’s rad.

And, if watching these kinds of cougars duke it out in the street is too scary for you, just drive down to Orange County, CA. You can watch the other kind of cougars fighting over young single rich men. It’s equally as entertaining.
