Breezy Johnson (@breezyjohnson) announced that she will not compete in the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. The Jackson Hole native told her Instagram followers that a knee injury is forcing her to withdraw.
Breezy is a US fan-favorite. She has medaled 7 times in downhill competitions on the World Cup circuit over the last two seasons, and was a true contender for a medal in Beijing.
We’re wishing Breezy a speedy recovery, and we hope to see her compete in 2026 at Milan/Cortina!
