Two people at Beech Mountain Resort in North Carolina were injured after a snowmaking hose burst under a loaded chairlift soaking skiers and snowboarders while the temperature dipped as low as 7 degrees. Trapped skiers jumped 25 feet from the chairlift to safety, but Beech Mountain notes that resort staff did not give skiers the instruction to jump. The footage is wild:
