“A hunter stumbled across these two and called the local conservation officer who responded to assist. Once it was safe, the officer was able to approach and saw off a portion of antler, freeing the two deer. Great work by our officer!”
Gnarly video out of Saskatchewan where a conservation officer was called to the scene to separate a mule deer and and a whitetail deer that got their antlers hopelessly tangled while sparring during the rut. Thankfully the officer was able to the free the distressed animal with a handsaw and they both went on their way unharmed. Well done!
