Boomslang. What a name, am I right?
There’s just a certain energy that comes with uttering that name out loud. Boomslang. I can’t stop saying it. I had no idea that a Boomslang was a snake until today, but now I think Boomslang is my favorite word. Boomslang.
Anyways, enough of my ramblings. A family living in South African discovered the extremely venomous Boomslang slithering through their Christmas tree. They called a snake expert and had it removed with anybody being harmed.
A very small amount of Boomslang venom can kill a human, but experts say that the snakes are usually shy and rarely bite.
Kind of a weird paradox with the Boomslang. They have the coolest name of any animal I’ve ever heard, they have extremely deadly venom, but they aren’t really that aggressive. Kind of unfortunate if I’m being honest. I was hoping the Boomslang was going to be this badass apex predator, but I guess not. Oh well.
