I don’t mean any disrespect, but who in the hell thought parallel slalom skiing was a good idea? 😂
Sure, it’s really fun to watch two skiers race down side by side, but is it worth it for the athletes? All it takes is for one skier to miss a gate, lose their balance, or catch an edge for disaster to happen.
I’m all for seeing more events like this in the future, but maybe they could put some kind of soft barrier in between the courses? I don’t know. Maybe I’m just being a pansy, but I don’t want to see skiers blasting into each other in attempt to win a silly little race.
With that being said… I can’t stop watching this video.
