I was just aimlessly scrolling through the doom and gloom factory that is Facebook when I stumbled across this change of pace from Snowshoe Mountain, WV. It brought a smile to my face, and I just had to share it with all of you.
Snowshoe has partnered with Nature’s Mountain Classroom to offer a free first day skiing for kids in the local community. They were given winter clothing, ski gear, and given free lessons.
This is what skiing is all about, and I love anytime I see a resort host an event like this. It’s even better when that resort is the same state as my alma mater. LET’S GO MOUNTAINEERS!
