Sunday River’s annual Santa Sunday event took place on Sunday, December 5th. The event raises money for the River Fund, a charity that supports youth education and recreation in the Bethel, Maine area.
232 pre-registered Santas descended the slopes of Sunday River’s South Ridge and the photos are pretty awesome if I do say so myself. Having fun and raising money for a good cause. Doesn’t really get much better than that, does it?
Would be really cool to see other ski resorts host similar events in the future to raise money for charities. Maybe ‘Saucer Boy Saturday’ up at Palisades Tahoe? Hmmm…
