Another ski resort on the East Coast has started its season off. Sugarloaf Mountain announced on Sunday that the resort will open for skiing and riding today. Each open run will be groomed, but based on the limited amount of runs, you can probably expect them to mogul up later on in the day. The only lift open will be the SuperQuad. The open runs include “Bridle Chain, Bucksaw X-Cut, Tote Road top-to-bottom, Lower Timberline, Tote Extension, and Pinch.” On Monday, colder temperatures will allow their snowmaking crew to aim at getting Candy Side and King’s Landing open in the coming days. Rain is unfortunately expected for day one, but some snow could fall in upper elevations.
