I don’t know about you, but mountain lions aren’t the first thing that come to mind when I think about Orange County, California. I usually default to trashy reality shows, absurdly expensive homes, stupid-ass designer brands that are only expensive because that’s what they’ve determined their self-worth is, and lots and lots of plastic surgery.
I hate to stereotype an entire county in that fashion, but I think Orange County hasn’t done itself any favors in their branding.
That’s why I was extremely surprised to learn that mountain lions live in the hills of Orange County, and that two hikers nearly ran into one just earlier this week. Who would have thought that something actually cool could live in such a lame place? 🤣
