I stumbled across this video last season of ski patrol members at New York’s Holiday Valley Resort pulling the passes of two kids who apparently were skiing in closed terrain.
The video clearly shows that the ski patrol members forgot to put the sign up alerting skiers that the trail was closed, but the skiers probably should have known the trails closes at dusk considering they’re season passholders.
Seems like the situation could have been handled without pulling passes, but hey what do I know? I’m just a ski blogger trying to get controversy pot stirred early on this Wednesday morning in October. Can you blame me?
