October Storm - Mammoth Mountain October 25, 2021

Mammoth Mountain bumped up their opening day 2 week earlier than originally planned thanks to high snowfall totals expected from the storm yesterday, and snow earlier this month.

Mammoth is reporting this morning that the storm delivered 15″ at the Main Lodge and 36″ at McCoy Station!! Plenty of snow to get lifts spinning later this week.

I wish I could drop everything and book a trip out to Mammoth right now because my itch for going skiing is turning more into an unbearable rash… Too graphic? Sorry…

Check out the photos from the storm at Mammoth and get stoked for opening day on Friday. Forecast is calling for sunny skies and a high of 43 degrees. Should be plenty of fresh, soft snow to enjoy on October 29th. Can’t ask for much more than that can ya?
