Californians rejoice! Mammoth Mountain announced yesterday that they will open for the season two weeks earlier than their projected opening. The resort has seen 17″ already this October, and is expecting an atmospheric river to dump multiple FEET of snow over the next week.

Mammoth will spin lifts a week from today on October 29th, 2021!

Always a good omen for the winter to come when ski resorts are opening earlier than intended. Check out the full announcement from Mammoth below and get stoke for winter!

Wouldn’t be surprised if Mammoth opens next Friday with fresh snow and even powder on some of their runs. Can you dream of a better opening day than that? I think not!
