A bison had a rather rough day last weekend at a park in Quebec, Canada.

CTV News is reporting that the bison reached its head through the car’s open window and got stuck for about 10 minutes at Parc Oméga, Quebec. The park is a drive-through safari that lets guests see a variety of animals from the comfort of their cars.

Thankfully, the bison was unharmed in the incident.

From CTV News: “He wasn’t trapped that long so thankfully it was just more panic rather than anything else, so he wasn’t hurt and he managed to get himself back out and he wasn’t hurt so we’re very thankful for that,” Lucy Robertson, a staff member at Parc Oméga said.

The article also states that its against park rules for vehicles to open their windows or to feed the bison while driving through the enclosure. Probably to avoid incidents like this!

So basically we have some idiot tourists who thought following the rules was below them, and ended up getting a bison’s head stuck in their window. Poor animal. Their car was reportedly damaged in the incident. Good. That’s karma baby.

I’m a big time rule-follower and I don’t care who knows it. Follow the rules, that’s what they’re for! Especially in parks with wildlife!
