DPS is a boutique ski brand based in Salt Lake City, Utah. They are known for their flashy skis with unique colors and designs. Many models have insane amounts of tip rocker and cutting-edge shapes.

It appears that DPS is now added alpine touring bindings to their offerings. According to online retailer SkiMo.co/ these bindings were “developed” in collaboration with an Italian binding manufacturer called  ATK Bindings that has been around for about 15 years. It appears the DPS bindings are simply rebranded ATK Bindings.

The DPS R14 is positioned as a free touring binding with a wider stance, lateral elasticity in the toe, beefier toe and heel pieces, and higher release value. The DPS R10 is more of a speed touring binding with a more sleek design, lower release value, and weight of 260-grams per binding. As one might expect with DPS, these binders don’t come cheap. The R14 sells for $749.95 and the R10 goes for $599.95.
